DAMPING SYSTEMS FOR MECHANICAL ENGINEERING.

For the standouts.

In addition to our standard dampers, many of our customer-specific solutions are also used in the mechanical engineering industry. Working closely with customers is the key to developing the optimum product. We develop and manufacture dampers both as individual items and in series production. Our products can often be used both as shock absorbers as well as vibration absorbers.

SINGLE-USE DAMPERS.

Single-use dampers absorb extremely high levels of energy. With an energy absorption of over 90%, their properties are almost equal to those of hydraulic dampers. Their thread allows them to be screwed directly into place. Single-use dampers are designed to be used once under stress before being replaced.

E-Springs

E-Springs.

Our TecsPak® elastomer springs, known as E-Springs, offer lower operating costs than standard steel springs of the same size. A cost-effective choice for energy management systems, E-Springs are extremely resistant to chemicals, oil and grease. They are particularly suited to areas that must be resistant to corrosion. Their extraordinary durability reduces maintenance and increases productivity. Their flexible design accommodates light loads to heavy final loads. They are suited to applications in markets such as industrial automation.

DOWN HOLDER DAMPERS (NHD).

TecsPak® down holder dampers are used in applications such as press tools to damp the down holder when the tool is opened. Their high load and energy absorption help to avoid screw and rod breakages. We have developed them for continuous use in down holders, but they can also be used in a variety of other applications.

Lifting dampers

LIFTING DAMPERS (AHD).

TecsPak® lifting dampers are installed in press tools, for example, where they are used to damp and reduce vibration in lifting rods during closing and opening. Their high load and energy absorption help to avoid screw and rod breakages. We have developed them for continuous use in lifting components, but they can also be used in a variety of other applications.

SLIDING DAMPERS.

TecsPak® sliding dampers are used in applications such as press tools to damp the slider when the tool is both opened and closed. This reduces the impact energy and avoids vibrations while also increasing the slider’s service life. Sliding dampers are essentially a special variant of the TecsPak® standard dampers.

Sliding dampers
Tulip dampers

TULIP DAMPERS.

TuLip® dampers are used in areas with singular impact loads (e.g., emergency stop applications) that require high energy absorption. Unlike the TecsPak® dampers, TuLip® dampers are exposed to a limited number of impacts. They are a cost-efficient and competitive alternative to components such as rubber bumpers and parabolic leaf springs. They are also much more compact in size and weigh significantly less.

DAMPING PLUGS.

TecsPak® damping plugs are installed for continuous operation in press tools, where they damp the down holder when the tool is opened. While TecsPak® down holder dampers and TecsPak® lifting dampers are subject to axial loads, damping plugs are subjected to radial loads. They are generally installed on the side of the tool. Their large load and energy absorption, as well as their high elasticity, help to avoid screw and rod breakages. Their service life is many times longer than that of damping plugs made of polyurethane, steel and other materials. What’s more, the plugs are also suitable for many other applications.
