Our standard dampers offer you a fast and effective solution to suit the requirements of your loading case. The standard dampers are readily and quickly available in various designs and feature precisely defined absorption properties.
INFINITE DAMPING POSSIBILITIES.
TecsPak® standard dampers: available ex stock.
There are seven different types of TecsPak® standard damper: GBA, GBA-S, GBR, GBR-H, TCB, RTB and HRB. The different type designations refer to different loading cases. The dampers can be subject to both axial and radial loads, with load absorption ranging from 0.2 kN to 980 kN, depending on the type. They can absorb up to an impressive 12,700 Nm of energy per stroke. Each type has different absorption properties, offering progressive, (almost) linear and digressive force curves.
GBR-Series.
The GBR dampers are radial acting. They demonstrate a gentle, linear progressive characteristic curve with a long stroke. The GBR-Series consists of 14 different sizes with:

Energy absorption:
1.8 – 146 Nm

The GBA-S dampers are axial acting and are primarily used for shock loads. They demonstrate a gentle, digressive characteristic curve with an efficiency (energy absorption) of up to more than 50% in continuous operation. The GBA-S Series consists of 22 different sizes with:

TCB-SERIES.
The TCB dampers are axial acting and are primarily used for extremely high shock loads. Originally developed for damping in all types of crane systems, TCB dampers are now used in a variety of heavy-load applications. TCB dampers meet the OSHA and CMAA standards and demonstrate a gentle, progressive characteristic curve with an efficiency (energy absorption) of up to 35% in continuous operation and up to 75% in emergency stop applications. The TCB Series consists of 17 different sizes with:

RTB-SERIES.
The RTB dampers are radial acting. Due to their pipe-like structure, they primarily absorb surface shock loads along their entire length. They demonstrate a gentle, progressive characteristic curve with low final loads. The efficiency (energy absorption) reaches up to 31% during continuous operation. The RTB Series consists of six different sizes, each with 4 – 6 different lengths.
